Vicwest Income Fund is based on a solid platform of strong business fundamentals.
These include a variety of products and customers, a unique marketing position as a leading national supplier with established brands, flexible operations, low maintenance capital expenditure requirements and an experienced management team and group of employees.
The Fund will leverage these strong fundamentals through its three point growth strategy in order to increase and diversify its sources of cash for distribution.
- Increased international business development in the agricultural sector - The Fund considers agriculture as a growing market sector. As a result, the Fund will increase its business development efforts in that sector to gain market share.
- Expanding complementary distributed product lines - The Fund will continue to expand its complementary distributed product lines, in order to generate further cross-selling opportunities with its existing customer-base
- Accretive acquisitions and the continuation of the development of new product lines - The Fund will pursue acquisitions that it believes will be accretive to cash distributions to the Unitholders. The Fund will also continue to introduce new product lines, such as insulated metal panels and ThermaShed® to its customers.
