Operating out of 16 manufacturing facilities strategically located across Canada, the Fund fabricates and distributes two core product lines – Vicwest Building Products and Westeel Storage Solutions – under seven different brand names to customers domestically and in international markets.
Through Vicwest Building Products, the Fund is one of Canada’s leading suppliers of metal roofing, siding, insulated metal panels, composite panels and other building products to the industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) sector, as well as the agricultural and residential markets. Its products are fabricated and marketed under the Vicwest, Mercury Metals, Valley Truss and Metal and RCA Metal trade names.
The Fund’s Westeel Storage Solutions operates under the Westeel trade name, and is one of Canada’s foremost manufacturers of steel containment products for agricultural storage of grain and fertilizer. These include bins, hopper cones and other related equipment. The division also manufactures steel storage tanks and accessories and accessories are manufactured under the trade names of Westeel, Northern Steel and NSI. These are sold to the commercial/industrial, oil & gas, agricultural, forestry, mining and other sectors.
