Operating out of 16 manufacturing facilities strategically located across Canada, the Fund fabricates and distributes two core product lines – Vicwest Building Products and Westeel Storage Solutions – under seven industry-leading brand names to customers in all regions of Canada and in key international markets worldwide.
Through Vicwest Building Products division, the Company is one of Canada’s foremost suppliers of metal roofing, siding, insulated metal panels, composite panels and other building products to the industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) sector, as well as the agricultural and residential markets.
The Fund’s Westeel Storage Solutions division operates under the Westeel brand, and is one of Canada’s primary manufacturers of steel containment products for agricultural storage of grain and fertilizer. These include bins, hopper cones and other related equipment. The division also manufactures steel storage tanks and accessories that are sold to the commercial/industrial, oil & gas, agricultural, forestry, mining and other sectors under the Westeel, Northern Steel Industries and NSI trade names.
